The Competition was introduced in 1996 by the then

County Field Officer Reggie Lawson-Timms who has

seen local Competitions being run very successfully

at both Bury and Rochdale Royal British Legion

Branches and decided to run a County Competition.

The Competition has now been taken up by other

Legion Counties through out the Country.

The Annual Cadets Poppy Appeal Award Competition

is an excellent way for young people to get involved

in assisting the Royal British Legion to raise money

for the Poppy Appeal . Branch Poppy Appeal

Organisers who require assistance should contact

their local Cadet Unit or County Office.
